6:00-8:00 PM – Plan kick-off: A (more) Walkable Watertown?
Join us for the public launch of the Watertown Square Area Plan on Tuesday, October 17 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at 64 Pleasant Street.
Welcome Reception from 5:00 to 6:00 PM will include live entertainment and light bites from local Watertown Square restaurants!
Then, during the Plan Kickoff, hear from project team representatives including walkability guru Jeff Speck and Utile project lead Tim Love, as they discuss the current condition of the Square, hear how communities can reimagine important spaces, and learn about the team's next steps!
If you choose to drive, there is ample parking in front of the building (former Sasaki building) or in the adjacent DCR pool parking lot directly to the west of the building off of Pleasant Street. If you park in the DCR lot, there are stairs to the front door just to the left of the parking lot entrance.
If you cannot attend, or would rather listen in to the conversation virtually, you can watch through WCATV's Government Channel (RCN 13, Comcast 22), and via live stream here.
